About the Company: We are landscape contractors and nurserymen. Oxford Ornamentals has been providing landscape management services since 1977. We take pride in having ready-access to the talents of professional arborists, entomologists, soil scientists, floriculturists, service technicians, nurserymen, engineers, and landscape architects. We do landscape designs, plantings, landscape construction, and landscape planting maintenance, such as pruning, fertilizing, renovation, weed control, and mulching. We install flowerbeds,retaining walls, do some plant removals and relocations. Occasionally, we install underground drainage systems and fencing. We grow our own specialty trees and shrubs at our 30 acre nursery in Oxford. Clients include residential,commercial, homeowner associations, institutional and other "Green Industry" practitioners. Oxford Ornamentals is licensed by the State Department of Agriculture and is fully insured.
About Us: We are a family owned corporation: Tom Lepping is President; Jeanette Lepping is Secretary/Treasurer; Paul Lepping is Vice President and works as Superintendent. Paul,("PJ"), and I, Tom, are both State Certified Pesticide Applicators. I, personally, am a nationally certified arborist and state certified nurseryman, was a landscape horticulture major at Michigan State University, have studied landscape architecture at Schoolcraft College, and have been involved on a full-time basis in the "Green Industry" both as a landscape contractor and grounds manager since 1964. I served on the Board of Directors of the Southeast Michigan Professional Grounds Management Society. I have also served on the Horticulture Curriculum Advisory Committee at Michigan State University, Ferris State College, and Oakland Community College. Memberships, in addition to those mentioned above, include the American & Michigan Nursery and Landscape Associations,International Society of Arboriculture, Michigan Green Industry Association, Oxford Chamber of Commerce and Michigan Farm Bureau.
